Does Christmas ever feel like just another thing to get through—another task on an already too-full to do list?

While the carollers sing that it's the most wonderful time of the year, the truth is that it doesn't always feel that way. And it was no different for the people we read of in Scripture. The cast of characters who found themselves part of the very first Christmas had their own disappointments, struggles, and dreams they were waiting to see realised. They needed to be reminded that God had not forgotten or forsaken them; that He was Emmanuel, God with them.

We invite you to rekindle a fresh sense of wonder for the precious gift God offers us not only at Christmas, but each and every day: the gift of Himself. The gift of Emmanuel—God with us.

Guiding you through the opening chapters of Luke, the Capturing the Wonder digital study will open your eyes to see the fingerprints of God in your life, reminding you that just as He intervened in the lives of these ordinary men and women, speaking His truth into their circumstances, so He wants to speak to you.
